This month our company spotlight is on Reinhart Ltd, and their NEUROSYNC solution, which combines virtual reality with EMDR for treating PTSD.


Their self-directed model reduces the need for verbal disclosure, making care more accessible for underserved groups such as neurodiverse individuals, refugees, and people affected by conflict.

NHS Innovation Adoption Awards


The Mindset-XR Innovator Support team was delighted to be nominated in the 

Digital Innovation category of the NHS Innovation Adoption Awards at a Health and Life Sciences showcase held in Parliament last week.


The event brought together innovators, Parliamentarians and NHS leaders to highlight health, life sciences and AI projects delivering real‑world impact, with discussion focused on moving innovation more quickly from policy into practice.

Renewed Women's Health Strategy for England


The Government has published its long awaited Women's Health strategy for England, with a promise that women’s experiences will be put at the centre of care across the healthcare system.

 

The plan covers the next ten years and its aims include tackling outdated and misogynistic practices around pain relief, better streamlined gynaecological care with reduced waiting lists and faster access to treatment for conditions like endometriosis and fibroids, and the launch of a £1.5 million Femtech challenge fund to accelerate adoption of innovations that could transform women’s healthcare in the future.

 

Demystifying clinical AI in Mental Health


The NHS Alliance has published a guide which sets out key considerations for adopting artificial intelligence in mental health services.


The use of AI in mental health care and across the NHS is not without risk, and this guide examines issues such as regulatory requirements, cost-effectiveness, governance and workforce support.

     
     

Advancing innovation in drug and alcohol addiction healthcare


Innovate UK, on behalf of the Office for Life Sciences (OLS) Addiction Healthcare Goals (AHG) programme, will invest a share of up to £20 million in innovative

projects that will advance development of pharmaceutical, digital and MedTech tools to improve treatment recovery and prevention of harm and deaths from drug and alcohol addictions.


Funding is for pharmaceutical, MedTech and digital interventions that can show real world effectiveness and progress towards UK market use.

Medical Research Council (MRC) partnership grant


The MRC has announced a funding opportunity for applicant-led partnerships between teams of researchers carrying out novel collaborative activities that add value to high-quality research.


Applications open on 07 April, and there is no closing date.
